I have wanted to try this place for a while and finally had a chance! French toast was so yummy, might be my go to from now on. Small menu but all classics, definitely won't be disappointed. I'll be back for sure🙂 …

They are only open about 16 hours a week but that's only because they are good enough to only be open so few hours a week. They are very friendly and remembered me after a single visit. I see why they've been open so long. Check them out!

Classic, authentic diner atmosphere with tasteful, modern updates. Family business run with great pride in their food, setting, and history. Great omelets, grilled potatoes, and they serve the famous Cote's Beans, made at Lowell's 100+ year old, beloved Cote's Market in the French Canadian style (not traditional Boston Baked Beans because they have no molasses or sugar). Comfort food breakfast so true to the old style you will think you are back in the day!

I finally decided to try this restaurant for the 1st time today. This restaurant has been here for decades, I noticed alot of old photos hanging on the wall of this establishment. A few friends of mine shared on fb that cameo diner had a good breakfast sandwich called the fat kid. As soon as I walked into this restaurant literally every staff member inside greeted me asking how I was doing? (Most restaurants do not do that these days.) Litterally everyone that worked there greeted me, maybe 5 people. These people were extremely friendly, and courteous. The other thing I noticed is they actually had customers inside the restaurant eating, this is always a good sign. The fat kid sandwich was very good. It had bacon, ham, sausage, home fries, and eggs in it. It was almost too big. Perfect if you share this sandwich with a friend. The warm welcoming feeling I got when I walked inside this restaurant today made my entire day better. I wish every restaurant could do that. Can't wait to get breakfast at cameo diner again. 🙏

I waited too long to visit Cameo Diner. I’ve lived in the area for years and finally made it to this mainstay diner in the Lowell area. Family owned and operated, Cameo has been part of the community for years doling out delicious, hot food while keeping that diner charm alive. Food was fresh, hot and had great flavor. Coffee was perfect. We sat at the counter until a booth opened up and were quickly waited on. We ordered the following: Eggs Benny(classic) Blueberry pancakes Omelette Jennie’s home fries The eggs Benny was so good, simple but lots of flavor. The Jennie home fries were wicked good, with onions and jalapeños and came out piping hot. My husband enjoyed his omelette and the blueberry pancakes were stellar, nice and fluffy. It took too long to visit but now it will be a breakfast staple!

My husband and I are trying out different diners in the area. So far Cameo is our favorite! Mom and pop diner with fast service. Most of all my French toast, sausage, and home fries were delicious. I have finally found a place where they make the homes fries just how I like it!

This place has been on my "List" for a while and I finally got the chance to try it. I wish I had found the time sooner! I got there 10 minutes after it opened and there were already two regulars inside. I sat in a booth, though counter seating is plentiful. The owners work the place and are the friendliest people. I started with a coffee and water. The coffee was excellent -- not acidic, not watery, just full bodied flavor. I ordered an Irish Benny and a side of (crispy) bacon. Absolutely delicious! The muffin was toasted to perfection and the eggs were just liquid enough to blend well with the hollandaise. While I was there 2 or 3 people came in -- a mix of old and new customers. All were treated to the same friendly attitude. The decor is throwback and classic; I love it! The old menu posted above the grill adds a great touch. I will definitely be going back!
